Chloe's Fight Against Leukemia!
Donation protected
On September 10, 2019, sweet Chloe Carvalho was diagnosed with a rare Leukemia called JMML. Chloe and her family are now faced with an extraordinary burden of intensive cancer treatment at the Arnold Palmer hospital in Orlando.
In just one week since her diagnosis, Chloe went from being a playful child to a cancer patient. She has already undergone a bone marrow biopsy and surgery to place a port. Yesterday, she began an intensive course of chemotherapy and will need to stay in the hospital for at least a month. To make matters worse, Chloe has also contracted pneumonia, which is seemingly resistant to antibiotics.
Her parents Nayara and Jairo are sleeping in the hospital with her every night, relying on friends to care for their older child, and attempting to balance all of the other exogenous factors of life with Chloe's care.
Though Chloe and her family are committed to giving cancer the greatest fight possible, they cannot do it without the help of their community. Most saliently, as you can imagine, fighting this kind of cancer is extraordinarily expensive.
Please help darling Chloe fight this horrible disease. Any contribution, as well as all prayers and well wishes, are welcome, and Chloe and her family will be grateful beyond measure.
Sincerely,
Karen Middlekauff, friend of the Carvalho family
