Update 03/05/25 : Choji was taken to the vet today and was diagnosed with an incurable cancer. Unfortunately he was never cut with a toy it was the cancer starting to form in his mouth, the cancer has already ate completely at his upper jaw bone as well as another tumor on the top of his head. I was told there was nothing to prevent this as it was in his genetics when he was born. I was able to take him home and will be spending the little time I have left with him giving him all my love but we will have to end his suffering soon. He is only two years old and I never would’ve thought it would have to come to this so soon. I’m so heartbroken he’s still my little puppy. I’d appreciate any help with Chojis farewell of his cremation and euthanasia. Thank you everyone for your support so far I appreciate it all very much.
02/28/25 : I started this go fund me to help my Choji receive vet care. Choji is a 2 year old Rottweiler who is full of life and a such a sweet dog, unfortunately recently he had cut his mouth from chewing on a toy which has now resulted in a mouth infection with a cyst. He’s still such a happy dog running around and eating every meal but he is in pain and cries when I open his mouth and refuses any hard food :( I can’t stand to see him going through this as it hurts me that I can’t afford to take him to the vet since hours have been drastically cut at my job and I’m already struggling with bills. We’ve been doing our best at home cleaning his mouth multiple times a day as well as giving him antibiotics but ultimately he will need a vet to remove the cyst as well as possibly a tooth removed. I shared some photos of him now and him before. Anything helps and I greatly appreciate everyone who can share this as I desperately just want to see Choji get the help he needs and get back to his old self he’s my baby and I love him very much I honestly would’ve never found myself again if I never had him. Thank you
