Donations for Chris Malamut, Local 11 Iron Worker

Chris ("Cmal") is a Local 11 Ironworker. While working on a new Amazon warehouse, he was in a tragic accident and suffered life-altering injuries when a crane collapsed on March 17, 2023.

Currently, Chris is in critical condition. He has extensive injuries: his leg has been amputated at the knee; he has a thoracic spine fracture; a traumatic brain injury, with multiple brain bleeds; and, most critically, a brain stem injury. He is heavily sedated and on a ventilator. He is fighting for his life and every hour is touch and go.

We are fundraising for Chris Malamut and his family. Chris is a few hours from home at Westchester Medical Center and is not stable enough to be moved. All funds donated here will go towards Chris' medical bills and support during his treatment. 

His life has already been changed by the accident and the last thing we want is for him, his family, or his partner, Alexis, to be buried under medical bills as well. We want nothing more than to have Chris pull through and only have to focus on treatment and recovery. Every little bit is appreciated and will make a tremendous difference in Chris' life. 

We ask everyone, even if you cannot donate, to just please pray for Chris. The power of prayer is strong and we need a miracle.
