Help Chris and Jacob Rebuild After Devastating Fire

Hello, My name is Tabitha and as most of you know we are recovering from Hurricane Milton. So after several days of my brother Chris and my nephew Jacob having no power, the electric came back on Monday October 14th, 2024 around noon and by twelve thirty the house was on fire. My brother lost everything even his fish and his dog Bailey. We believe the fire started inside the wall when the electric came on like a surge or something. Luckily enough my brother and nephew had left just a few hours earlier so my brother could return to work. My dad was already on his way to my brother's house to check on things and plug the fridge in and start the a.c. so things would be comfortable when my brother got home from work and as he was on his way the neighbor flagged him down to tell him 911 had been called and the fire trucks were on the way. My dad tried so hard to rescue Bailey but she wasn't responding and the firemen had to rescue her but when they got to her she had taken in too much smoke and her poor lille body couldn't hold on any longer. They tried for about 30 minutes to save her. It has been such a heartbreaking ordeal. My poor nephew is beside himself without his pup. Chris owns his home and he does have insurance but the deductible is about $10,000. Chris is a single dad and has Jacob most of the time. He works his butt off and it's crazy this has happened to him. Chris is the type of person that will do anything for you and give you the shirt off his back and whatever he has that you need.
