Support for Chris as he battles T-cell leukemia.

Where to start. Chris Lawson, 38 years old, my closest cousin growing up, 9 days younger than me, a husband, a father, a pastor, and the man who married my husband and I. His smile can light up a room, his positive spirit is contagious, and his love and trust in the Lord is so inspiring.

Chris was recently diagnosed with chronic leukemia. However, after his bone marrow biopsy came back it was determined that he was misdiagnosed and actually has T-cell leukemia which is so rare that only around 300 people in the United States have ever had it. Not to mention, it's very aggressive. Chris has been on a raw vegan diet for the past few months in hope of using a holistic approach to squashing some of the cancer. After his last test, it was determined that while the diet significantly helped some of his levels, his T-cells are still out of control. He has an oncology appointment on 12/14 where the next steps for chemotherapy will be determined.

He is currently on sabbatical from his church he pastors, but that doesn't mean the bills stop rolling in.

Chris is a local pastor at a small church in Wooster, OH. He married his wife Lindsay and they have five of the most amazing children ranging from 2 to 13 years old. Chris survived a terrible car accident 3 years ago that landed him in the ICU and the doctors weren't certain if he would pull through. He survived this horrific accident, but lost his hearing in one ear that caused him to need a cochlear implant. This poor guy just keeps getting challenges handed to him one after another. And he handles each one with such grace.

The hope is to raise money for their family to assist with mortgage payments, medical bills, groceries, and anything else that comes their way in the next year.

I pray that the Lord blesses them abundantly and that their financial stresses are alleviated through generous donations to this amazing family!
