Message from Lisa (Chris' wife):
First and foremost we want to thank all of our wonderful family, friends, and co-workers for all of your love, support, prayers, and good wishes over the past several weeks.
My wonderful husband of 23 years blacked out behind the wheel while driving on January 31st which ended in an awful car accident. Upon arriving at NCH the doctors found a large tumor (cyst) in the middle of Chris' brain. We were not aware of this tumor (cyst) and found out that this was the cause of the accident. After six surgeries and six weeks at the University of Florida (Shands) hospital in Gainesville - Chris is fighting the toughest battle of his life.
Chris will be undergoing months of physical and occupational therapy. Unfortunately, the doctors, hospital, and rehab bills are very high with many more to follow. Our insurance only pays for a portion of all of these exuberant bills. With your help and generosity we can offset some of the out-of-pocket medical expenses, along with the loss of family income.
