Chris’s Fight Against Brain Cancer

Donation protected
Friends & Family,

Our dad, Chris, has always been an incredible mentor, friend, brother, and especially a wonderful father. He was always full of life, adventurous, and deeply close to his family.

For years, our dad was a healthy man who rarely needed doctor visits. But in November 2022, after experiencing continuous high blood pressure episodes, he decided to get a full-body MRI scan. The results were shocking—a brain tumor had been growing silently. The discovery was a complete surprise to everyone and heartbreaking for us, his daughters, and family around him.

Our father faced brain surgery and was diagnosed with a grade 4 glioblastoma, the most aggressive form of brain cancer. He underwent radiation and chemotherapy post surgery, and we held onto hope, believing the worst was behind him.

The recovery process was tough, but his strength shone through. Slowly, he began to regain his stamina. With diet plans, treatments, and consistent MRIs every three months, he was doing well, and each scan came back clear. But in December 2023, things took a sudden and drastic turn once again. Our dad began to feel off—his balance was unstable, his vision blurred, and he experienced confusion and severe headaches. A visit to the ER revealed that the tumor had aggressively returned, doubling in size and now in multiple areas.

This devastating news shattered us again. The doctors warned that the tumor's rapid growth would only give him a few more months to live. But just as hope seemed to be fading, a top neurosurgeon stepped in and scheduled back-to-back surgeries for January 18 & 19, 2024. The operations were intense, but our father came through, thanks to his faith, his family, and his trust in God.

The aftermath has been challenging after this second brain surgery. He lost half of his vision—something known as Hemianopsia—and struggles with short-term memory loss, confusion, and difficulty keeping track of time. Despite these hardships, he continues to fight, and we won’t stop fighting alongside him.

After a hopeful period of stability, a new MRI on October 1 revealed that the tumor had regrown again. Despite this devastating news, we refuse to give up. Our dad continues to show unwavering courage, and we are exploring every possible alternative to keep him in this fight for as long as we can.

Now, we’re reaching out to you—family, friends, and even kind-hearted strangers—to help us in this battle. We've set up this GoFundMe to support our dad. Every contribution, no matter how small, will go directly towards helping him in his fight.

We’ll keep you updated on his progress and how your support is making a difference in his life.

With heartfelt gratitude,
Chrissy & Natalie
