Help Corporal Langston

Tax deductible
A local disabled Combat Veteran, Corporal Chris Langston,  of Starke, FL came home 14 years ago after being medically discharged from the Marine Corps. When he returned to the states he suffered PTSD and was spiraling downhill. He eventually entered a program through K9 for Warriors, and graduated with a therapy dog named, Kup. After graduating he thought his life was finally getting back on track and looking up, until a few weeks ago when his house burnt to the ground. This was a devasting event that left Corporal Langston and his family homeless, without hope, and wondering why. Their home, belongings, and memorabilia, all lost in a matter of minutes; even the Marine Blues that his father and him shared. Corporal Langston and his three children under the age of 16 are all living in the confined space of a 32 foot camper. Bewteeen, this tragic event and the insurance company stating that there is a deficit of $40,000 that he may owe, it is causing a stressful financial burden on top of an already stressful situation. Corporal Langston and his families uncertainty of where they will live and even their next meal weighs heavily on Chris’s heart. This man has fought for our country and has stayed strong for himself and his family when it could have been so easy to give up. The Langston’s deserve to have a home to grow up in and to call their forever home. He is the true HERO that deserves the world, so as citizens let’s start “putting Unity back into CommUnity”  by uniting to help Corporal Langston through this difficult situation and show him that we appreciate the sacrifices he and other veterans made to protect our freedom. Let’s show him that he is not a nobody!

Embrace Community Center, Inc. a 501(c)3 non-profit organization in Keystone Heights, FL and it’s program, Embrace Rescue One, is giving Corporal Langston hope again.
