Hello kind soul,
Thank you for being here & now, reading this page❤️

We can't even begin to start to tell you what a journey it has been to reach this moment - to genuinely ask for your support; so we can help Christina on her journey healing from Stage 4 Breast cancer.

Just a little background - with a pinch of vulnerability:

On October 13th 2021 Christina recieved one of the most intense & shocking news of her life. She was diagnosed with Stage 2a (hormone positive) Breast Cancer. Her oncologist at the time summoned for an immediate Mastectomy of her breasts and she refused. She visited 5 other medical oncologists which said the same thing, only one of them suggested Chemotherapy. Again she refused. She knew there was something more for her to deal with that was beyond the surface, rather than just cutting 'the problem'.

When she recieved the news she was living in her family home in Abu Dhabi, UAE. She decided to move to Portugal to begin a holistic and alternative path to healing. Her family were worried about her choices but she did it anyway. She embarked on a holistic health journey to understand what had happened to her - how & why cancer visited her body. She looked in all directions to understand, following a wholistic approach to health - physical health, emotional health, mental health and spiritual health. She excavated and tried to get to the root cause.

She tried most types of alternative medicine modalities from Bio-resonance therapy, RGCC protocol, Alkaline Vegan diet, Vitamin C IV therapy, Ozone therapy, Mistletoe therapy, Rudolph Breuss fasting protocol, Dr Hulda Clarke's protocol, Frequency therapy, Chinese Medicine, Phytotherapy, Homeopathy, Naturopathy, Raw Veganism to FECO (full extract cannabis oil) for 2.5 years these modalities have kept her quality of life high but unfortunately not resulting in remission; until she did Rudolf Breuss fasting protocol that lasted 42 days and then things took a serious turn.

She did a scan 3 weeks after the re-feeding method, and it showed a metastasis to the lung, underarm and bones, at this point she had reached Stage 4 breast cancer. At that time the symptoms began to reveal themselves through shortness of breath, pain and limping. The symptoms worsened after 3 more weeks with difficulty of breathing, swelling in the body, and severe lower back pain. Christina couldn't handle it anymore, she went for emergency at a Private hospital and had to stay overnight and did a lung drainage, due to the build up of liquid around the pleura of her lungs - known as a pleural effusion. She was released to go home and ended up going back to the emergency for another drainage and also stayed overnight. At this point, she had to give in to the dilemma in her mind about conventional medicine and trust that she could combine both worlds - with alternative medicine- to continue healing.

That other time she stayed overnight at the hospital - was one of her saving graces.
The pain in her back worsened more and the Dr, recognizing she was in a lot of discomfort, asked for a CT scan of her whole back, only to find out she had 13 fractures and lesions from the cervical all the way down to her lumber. She had to go for emergency Radiotherapy and completed her treatment and went back to heal in hospital for a couple of weeks. She was then unable to walk for a while due to the pain from the fractures; she was also put on oxygen support - to help her breathe - and continued with regular lung drainages, as the liquid kept re-filling in the pleura of her lungs. She has completed 13 lung drainages to date.

To cut the very long story short; Christina is finally back home at her sister & brother in law's house in Monchique, Algarve, Portugal. Her family from around the world have come to support, some stayed for a little while and left. But her mum, who lives in Australia, decided to stay with her in Portugal to continue to support her physically. As the days go by, her body is responding well to the treatments, a wholistic lifestyle & strong faith. She is healing well, everyday she's getting better step by step.

Current Challenges and Expenses - Why are we fundraising?

Christina's financial situation hasn't been the greatest, currently she's borrowing money to pay for all her spenditure towards her medical bills & everything in-between. She's unable to work a regular job at the moment.

She is still undergoing treatment, at a hospital that is 3hrs from where she lives. Why - because it is a hospital that is dedicated to Oncology. Her Oncologist is amazing and it's worth the time, energy & effort spent to get treated there.

She is still needing and paying for support from disability equipment like a wheelchair and walker.

She still needs to buy all sorts of medication & supplements, that she still needs to take during her healing journey.

To give you a clearer picture of how your donations can make an impact, we’ve highlighted some key areas where support is urgently needed:

- Medical bills
- Disability equipment rental
- Transportation & travel
- Scans (MRI/CT/PET scans)
- Medication
- Supplements
- Treatments
- Doctor consultations
- Psychologist consultations
- Etc

What's next:
Christina is awaiting her PET scan results to see where she's at. We will be sharing a video where she speaks about her results and how she's been feeling overall. We want to keep you updated throughout her journey until she's fully cleared!

If you'd like to help us make a difference, please share this page with all your loved ones that you feel would resonate with Christina's story and on-going journey.

We can't thank you enough for wanting to support Christina! Your kindness and generosity is truly appreciated. With a heart like yours - this world is a better place ❤️

With lots of Love & Gratitude,

Here's a few photos so you can get to know Christina & her loved ones that have been standing by her side and supporting her - physically & virtually :)
(There are also a lot more loved ones that aren't in these photos, but we are so grateful to them for being on Christina's journey these last 3 years. We love you all!)
