Help My Sister Survive Cancer
Donation protected
Hello Everyone,
Last Friday, May 15, 2015 I found out that my sister Cindy Sevell was diagnosed with Breast Cancer and that she will have to undergo a DOUBLE Mastectomy.
I could not believe that this was happening to my sister. I was mortified and drove over to her house and held her, cried together, and spoke of the ugly word called CANCER.
Cindy is alone and takes care of her two beautiful children, Joshua 15, and Julia 13. She has four wonderful dogs, one who is blind. Cindy has a history of going the extra mile for everyone without ever receiving any credit or any thank you. She has helped thousands of people from all walks of life through many various ways of collecting donations, clothing drives, and privately making financial contributions to various people and their families when they were down on their luck or lost a job.
This is a woman of valor, and for CANCER to roll its ugly head upon her doorstep is not only a cruel joke, its a horrible burden to bare alone.
Cindy fortunately has medical coverage (not the best) and it hopefully will pay for "most" of her proceedures, however there will be many out of pocket expenses that she will not be able to afford. She has elected to have her surgery quickly to stop the spread of her INVASIVE BREAST CANCER. This will put her out of work, not able to make any money, and unfortunately she will not have enough to cover all the expenses that are associated with being out of work and throughout the recovery process.
I am asking you all as friends, family, strangers, to come together and help my sister who is so full of life, who would give anybody anything if it meant that she could help someone. Someone who would help you if the roles were reversed.
Please help my sister who is too proud to ask for help. This is happening so fast that she does not realize the financial burden on a CANCER patient. I have read online that this bankrupts many families. I really do not want to see her children Joshua and Julia suffer more than they are when their mommy undergoes surgery this May 27, 2015.
I am hoping to raise as much as we could so Cindy will be able to purchase groceries, pay her mortgage, keep the lights on in her house, pay for gas for her car so she can get to her medical appointments, pay for Joshua and Julia's summer activities, and for all the other fees that will add up for additional medical expenses, visits, stays, proceedures, nurse visits, etc.
I have never asked anybody for money. I always found it taboo, however I am not too proud to ask for my sister Cindy and her family. They will need support, love, understanding, and financial help.
Lets all help Cindy through this horrible situation and show her that she doesn't need to stress about finances; that she can focus all her energy on healing and getting better. This is so sudden and early, however she might need additional surgeries as they are not sure how far the CANCER has spread, until they open her up and perform further testing.
No matter how small or large the amount you are able to donate, please help my sister. I love her so much and only want her to live a healthy and full life. She has so much to live for. She needs to be there for her two beautiful children. They both need their mother so much. They too will suffer as many families do for their loved ones. Please help Cindy.
Cindy's Birthday is May 21. She will turn 45 years old. This is not a birthday present anybody should ever receive.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
Sincerely,
Howard Knepler
