Claire's Face Repair
Hi Everyone!
We as a group are reaching out to help an amazing and upbeat woman.
Our friend Claire Spencer Abate was playing 3rd base in a championship softball game when the unthinkable happened. She was unable to finish the games with her team because she was struck in the face with a fast bouncing ball down the base line. She was well cared for on the field by her amazing softball family. Claire was then transported to the hospital by ambulance. It was then determined she needed several stiches and with 4 broken facial bones, surgery was going to be needed.
Although there is never a good time to be injured, the timing of this injury could not have been worse. Claire, her wife, Cori and 4 year old daughter (Wesley) had just welcomed a beautiful baby girl, Willow, into their family less than a week before she was hit.
Long in short we are looking to alleviate the out of pocket cost for the surgery required to put in two plates and fix up that pretty face. Please help us help this beautiful family! No contribution is too small and all donations are greatly appreciated!
