Shriners Fund 2 Help Burned Victims
Donation protected
Recently, one of Clark's own has experienced a personal tragedy. Coach Monica Moreland, our new Varsity Volleyball Head Coach, had her 10 month old son (Brayden) burned very badly at day care when boiling water spilled on him. Brayden was in the ER and trama unit for a couple of days and still is receiving treatment and care for his injuries. We ask that everyone keep him and their family in their thoughts and prayers as he hopes for a full and quick recovery.

The family has asked in lieu of any donations to them directly for the expenses, for us to make a donation in his name for Shriner's Hospital for children. Shriners in Cincinnati is one of only four freestanding hospitals in the country dedicated to the treatment of pediatric burns and specializing in plastic and reconstructive surgery. All medical care is given free for patients due to generous donations of others. We ask the Clark Community to help support this worthy institution for victims like Brayden Hurd and others who are in need of care.
