Help Me Start a Book Mobile in Toledo, Ohio

Hi, My name is Colleen, but most people just call me Co. I own and operate a small business called Co.Curated, located in Toledo, Ohio. We started in 2014 as a blog, and slowly evolved over time into a business focusing on handcrafted objects and creating community around curating a cozy lifestyle.

During this time I've been able to focus in on my passions and on what my community needs by building connections with my supporters and customers - Home, Reading, and Art are the basis of our future. Co.Curated will embody these passions in the following ways:

Home: I enjoy designing and crafting home goods, offering a consistent line alongside smaller, exclusive releases featuring paintings and functional pieces.

Reading: We'll sell both new and used books, organize bookish events like reading challenges and book clubs, and potentially hosting retreats blending reading and creativity. We'll also offer book-related merchandise.

Collaboration: I'll partner with other creatives to create limited-edition items and curate book selections outside my expertise, broadening our offerings.

Both art and books contribute to the concept of Home, fostering cozy and comforting spaces. I aim for our products and books to help you curate your dream space.

So, how will I get there? For now, I am focusing on fundraising thru this campaign to begin this new endeavor. My goal is to fundraise enough for a mobile storefront, expanding my reach into fairs, festivals, pop-ups, and other community events. We will also use these funds to invest in our online presence, and the line of products we can offer our community.

Our mission is ever evolving and I’m sure that as we grow again, so will our offerings (maybe a permanent storefront?) I do have these bigger goals but for now - let’s start here. Thank you so much for investing in my business and my community!
