2000 Coats for kids in the Peruvian mountains

Our mission: To provide 2000 coats and more, to ensure that no child in the remote Peruvian mountains goes cold during the harsh winter months. For many of these children, a warm coat is not just a piece of clothing; it's a lifeline, a chance for them to stay healthy, attend school, and dream of a brighter future. I personally travel to Peru every year do distribute the coats and I also encourage you to come with me and be part of this fun journey.

Why Coats Matter: The harsh winters in the Peruvian mountains can be unforgiving, and for many of these children, the simple luxury of a brand-new coat is a rare and treasured experience. Most of them have never received anything brand new in their lives. The gift of a new coat not only provides warmth but also instills a sense of pride and dignity in these young hearts. It tells them that the world cares about their well-being and believes in their potential.

We help boost the local economy by buying the coats from small local vendors and street vendors, and also make sure the coats are made locally in Peru. Your contribution goes beyond the fabric and stitches; it's a symbol of hope and a brighter tomorrow.

Last year, thanks to the incredible generosity of many, we successfully provided more than 1000 warm coats to children living in the remote mountains of Peru. The smiles on their faces warmed our hearts just as much as those cozy coats warmed their bodies. Now, it's time to come together once again and make an even bigger impact this year.
