Cole Pooley Eagle Project Fundraiser

My Eagle project will consist of building a new coffee cart and raising money for coffee carts and kitchen supplies for the SELPA class at Holly Avenue Elementary School so they can make and sell coffee to the teachers and district administrators. SELPA stands for Special Education Local Plan Area. Holly Avenue Elementary School is a SELPA school which means they receive students with moderate to severe learning and intellectual disabilities from twelve other school districts in California. The students are taught basic life skills like cooking, shopping, making change, riding on public transportation, making coffee, etc. The new coffee cart will allow the students to make coffee drinks and sell them to teachers and district administrators teaching them basic life skills and functioning like making and giving change. The sales from the coffee drinks do not cover the costs of the coffee cart supplies and they are not currently able to sell coffee because they don't have a cart. My project will also raise funds to cover the cost of the coffee cart supplies and some kitchen supplies for their cooking class for 1 to 2 years.
