Collins Family Relief Fund

We are humbly asking for help to support the Collin’s family; Amanda, Blake and their three kids Parker(9), Kenzie(8) and Avalon(3). Back in December the Collin’s family received the world rocking news that Amanda had been diagnosed with Stage 3 Breast Cancer. After research and many discussions with her doctors they laid out plan for her to fight. Anyone who has known someone who has gone through a similar treatment understands the toll it takes on her body and financial burden it carries. Amanda was preparing for another round of chemo this last week and she decided to take the kids out swimming before she was laid up sick and in pain recovering. On her way back she received a phone call that her house was on fire. Fortunately, she was away with the kids, however Blake was at the house and suffered severe 2nd and 3rd degree burns. They discovered that they are unable to salvage any of their belongings except their kitchen table and plates. This has been a devastating time for their family losing clothes, furniture, toys, beds, mementos, pictures and much more, with the knowledge that insurance will only be providing a small fraction of the cost to fix the home and none to replenish the lost belongings. For the past year their oldest son Parker has been saving up for a dirt bike doing odd jobs around the house and neighborhood to earn the money needed. A week before the fire consumed their home, he finally had purchased that bike and it was engulfed in flames with the rest of his belongings. Temporary arrangements have been made for the family, but they are just in the beginning of this long journey back to normalcy. Blake is still in the hospital receiving treatment for his burns and Amanda will be going in for chemo and surgery to remove her tumors later this month. On top of the medical needs, they now need to find a new home to live in and replenish their belongings. If you can help whether that be a donation or simply a share please do it.
