The project
The Comfort of Numbers, a piece about the invisible connections that exist between things that can be far apart: science and art, Love and Death, math and music is taking the stage.
The play: Five people make their life journey bumping into the unavoidable, the unexpected, and into each other, bringing up the never solved riddle of fate versus chance.
The place: Clemente Soto Velez Cultural Center in New York City on March 23rd + 24th, 2015.
Our piece has come of a long way. None of this would have been possible without major support and we are now asking for yours too as we enter the final strech.
Where we started and where we are now
Originally written in 2012, The Comfort of Numbers is now on its third life, this time accompanied by an accomplished group of artists as part of Mabou Mines/Suite Resident Artist program.
Also, the long journey has brought us to find the ideal creative team for the piece and we are heading to a final and excelling version of the work.
Now we want to bring you in and share our achievements - Past and future ones.
What we need your help for
We need to raise $2,000 to cover half the costs of the production, such as lights, sound, video, costumes, and other creative costs.
Your donations will play a vital role in getting the work to the stage. Every donation will be geared to make the production as solid as it can be. For instance:
$50 will cover the costs of half the printed programs.
$100 will cover the costs of printed scripts.
$150 will cover the costs of the set.
$250 will cover the costs of costumes.
$500 will cover the costs of the set, props, and rehearsal costs.
We greatly appreciate your generosity! Any help you can offer will make a huge difference.
