Conleys Cause for ALS

Welcome to #ConleysCause for ALS.
Brandon and Samantha Conley live in Evergreen, Colorado and were married on October 27th, 2021. Brandon is 37 years young and has been diagnosed with BULBAR ONSET ALS. We come together now as family, friends, athletes, dancers, cheerleaders, and as loving humans everywhere from Baltimore to Colorado to support the Conley Newlyweds in their fight against ALS.
On February 20, 2022- we raised over $100,000 for the fundraiser....and now we are racing to $500,000 as medical expenses continue to grow for the Conley Family. With electric wheelchairs costing on average $1500 and used cars with wheelchair-accessible ramps averaging $15,000....the ALS bills continue to rise.
Conley's Cause started out as a single day fundraiser aimed to raise $10,000...and now as we are surpassing $135,000....we can only look forward with smiles knowing how powerful this community is. We are rising, we are growing, we are fighting, and we aren't done yet....

What is Bulbar Onset ALS?
There is no Bulbar Onset ALS specific diagnostic test and the disease is typically diagnosed by ruling out other conditions. ALS is not experienced in the same way, and the disease progression varies greatly among all those diagnosed. Most people live 3-5 years after their first signs of disease. However, those diagnosed with Bulbar Onset ALS typically see faster disease progression. "As the disease progresses, muscle weakness and atrophy spread to other parts of the body, but usually start with difficult speech and numbness in the face."
The #ConleysCause Committee deeply thanks you for your donation and support to help this young couple living with ALS.
