Hi, I am Malcolm Jackson, the proud nephew of Connie Glasper. In the beginning of this year, 2016, my Auntie began to have back and neck pain. For months she would visit doctors, specialist, chiropractors, and physical therapist. No one could figure out why she was in so much excruciating pain. The result came back with no concerns after every doctor visit.


By the month of June, she could not walk and pain meds were not helping. Later the doctors results finally spotted something that was kept from her for about a week. They wanted to run more test just to make sure the results were consistent with each other before they gave her the bad news.


The doctor finally told my beautiful Auntie Connie that she was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma Cancer. This is a cancer that spreads aggressively through plasma cells and damage the bones, immune system, kidneys, and red blood cell count. It is a cancer that can be treated through blood transfusions, chemotherapy, and a few other ways. She has gone through two major hip surgeries as well as a neck surgery to get rid of bone lesions. She is going through chemotherapy now and we pray we can look back at this stage in her life and tell an uplifting testimony.


My Auntie Connie has a beautiful family of three girls, a loving husband, and many friends by her side every step of the way. She is such an amazingly strong, loving and caring person that continues to have faith in God.
