Support Connor & Lane's Running Challenge for Breast Cancer

Tax deductible
Family & Friends – another year and another 4x4x48 Challenge will be starting this Friday with my good friend Lane Stiles. The challenge consists of running 4 miles, every 4 hours, for 48 hours (12 runs totaling 48 miles). It was created by David Goggins to push one’s limits & resilience, while encouraging some fundraising along the way. This year we will be raising awareness for the National Breast Cancer Foundation and have a fundraising goal of $1,000.

Other than skin cancer, breast cancer is the most common form worldwide with 1 in 8 women, or 13%, developing the disease in their lifetime. Every 2 minutes, a new woman is diagnosed with Breast Cancer in the United States. Chances are high that you know someone who has directly been affected. However, there are more than 4 million breast cancer survivors in the U.S. and it is a disease with a very high survival rate when detected and treated early. Early screening, detection, and prevention is key. This is something my family is learning about this year in regards to BRCA gene mutations and what that means moving forward.

While you can’t run the miles for us, please consider donating to our cause and/or spreading the word!

Your donation will go directly to the National Breast Cancer Foundation whose mission is to provide help and inspire hope to those affected through early detection, education, and support services.
