Cornwall End to End for Rest With Joseph & Friends
In memory of his son, Joseph, whom was born sleeping 2 years ago....
A very determined and passionate Father/Chair Trustee, Darren Collier, for a Cornish based charity ‘Rest with Joseph and Friends’ (Registered Charity Number 1186675) continues to push himself to achieve a Burial Garden for babies that have been born through a late miscarriage.
An usually active monkey riding a children’s BMX bike miles across the country has been hit by Motor Nerve Damage, resulting in him losing his ability to walk. This gruelling challenge is now more pain staking mentally and physically than his previous. A Santa Monkey walking with his crutches End to End of Cornwall (Gunnislake to Lands End) from 5th December 2020.
Your help by donating will create a Burial Garden for sleeping sons/daughters born through a late miscarriage. Help can also be given by letting us know if anyone has any land in Mid Cornwall that our charity can buy or wishes to donate so funds raised can be used to create the natural setting Burial Garden.
With baby loss being current news of late, this charity is so important. A modern society full of stigma and ignorance on baby loss makes it hard for parents and families to voice and show their feelings. Isolation and grief from a traumatic experience are suppressed deep inside.
Their baby held with no life in their arms and unable to say they were stillborn.
As the law stands, Parents are given no registered birth certificate and therefore no death certificate. There is no place for their son/daughter on their family tree. A son/daughter that does not exist.
Rest With Joseph and Friends Burial Garden will provide comfort to families by giving them a place to lay their sleeping son/daughter to rest and sharing their existence with society. A garden to show their life had meaning and purpose.
We thank you for your time to read this and your donation can help break the silence on baby loss and create our Burial Garden.
Thank you.
