Cosmic Doctor Bunny’s …and If I Were to Die Today

Saniya (Bunny) and Dania (Aqua), life-long friends, were lost tragically while on vacation together in Montreal on March 16th of 2023. A raging fire that claimed the lives of 5 more was ignited in their AirBnB early that morning and while some inhabitants made it out alive, Bunny and Aqua sadly perished in the blaze. They were both brilliant, beautiful, and beloved by everyone they met and their artistic talents and prowess made them unique even to the most accomplished and eclectic circles. Bunny was already an accomplished pediatric doctor in their home of Pakistan and was continuing her career in Detroit, Michigan while Aqua was becoming a burgeoning illustrator in Toronto.

They had plans to produce a poetry book together. It would incorporate Bunny's more than 3,000 poems along with Aqua's artwork. Sadly, it was still in its infantile stages and never got footing before they were lost. But with the help of community, family, friends, and a special publishing house (Ignite Publishing, Dania's publisher) we hope to produce a tribute to them both, showcasing their genuine love and kindness as people as well as the brilliant artists they had become.

The book shall be hard covered and limited edition. All and any donations are appreciated. Thank you all so much. We hope to make them smile, happy, and proud with the book we produce.
