Hi All,

For those of you who know me this may not be news to you, but for those of you who don't, we recently got some bad news concerning my uncle's health. Before I tell you the most recent news, we need to go back so you get the full story.

About 4 years ago my amazing uncle Craig, now 45, was diagnosed with a brain tumor. Not only was it scary enough hearing those words, but finding out it was the size of a softball and would need a 14 hour surgery to remove made all our fears come to light. It was a long, tedious process for my uncle, and even though our family was very nervous and devastated by the situation, we clung to God and watched how he put a light in Craig. We watched as this light inspired others and us as he bravely and optimistically faced the challenge. He flew through the surgery with flying colors, and was back to his normal self in no time!

Well, you think having one brain tumor the size of a softball would be enough in a lifetime right? Apparently God had other plans, because just a few months ago Craig was told he had another growth. Luckily this one was smaller and seemed more straightforward and easier to remove. After a four hour surgery he was out and back to his happy self. We thought the worst of it was over.

Flash forward to today where I sit at this computer and tell you some very unnerving news. Craig just went in for a post-op check up and was diagnosed with a grade 4 malignant brain tumor that cannot be removed surgically. He is going to have to go through radiation, and then chemo, to try to stop and reduce the tumor that has branched out into different parts of his brain.

If there is anyone who can fight this fight, it is my uncle Craig. Even with this news, he has stayed positive throughout, and is already inspiring us. He truly is leaning on God for all in this situation.

Now here is the part where you can come into play. Because he has to do radiation and chemo, he is going to need a little help from friends, family, and strangers to keep up financially with what life is throwing his way. We would all greatly appreciate any donation you could give. If you aren't able to give monetarily, please support him with prayers, cards, visits, and thoughts.

Forever Grateful,
Grace Needler
