7.02.2020: Just a little update to our story! Below is our story in the beginning of the COVID-19 outbreak when this page was created.  Since then, there have been many changes which we update in the 'updates' section (below) of this page as well as our Facebook page. We are steadily moving forward, keeping safety and sustainability in mind. We have opened on-line ordering which we are adding to little by little and hope to expand our offerings as we move forward.  We will continue with updates of our future changes in the updates section of this page as well as on our Facebook page. Thank you for following our progress and all your continued support!!!

#SmallBusinessRelief
Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic and the restrictions and changes that have come with it, we have decided to close our business. Because of these unprecedented circumstances our business is suffering, our staff is suffering and our community is suffering.

As a long-standing restaurant, bakery, caterer, gift shop and organization that supports the arts and local farmers, our goal has always been to “fuel and support the community”.  We feel strongly about this mission, however the burden that has been placed upon our business and community has come with a great force.

It has created extreme financial hardship for our employees, our community and us. Like many, we are struggling with the stresses of the impact of this situation.

Even greater is the need to do what we can to provide immediate relief to help those in need of food in the coming days, weeks and/or months.

To do this, we need your help!

We are asking for $10,000 to assist us in achieving 3 goals:

1.)  To provide for those in immediate need in the community.  We want to order more food items and other supplies while our purveyors US Foods and Bono can deliver. Time is urgent as we do not know what the weeks ahead mean for us as far as these resources and supplies being available.

2.)  To provide food and other resources (if possible) for our staff.  All of our staff has been laid off and are experiencing extreme financial hardship.  We need to be able to help them get through this crisis.

3.)  To provide the possibility to rekindle our business.  When we come out on the other side of this, we want to be able to still be a place where we can gather and break bread together.  We want to serve and entertain our community and also bake more pink cookies for you!!

Again, time is crucial as our suppliers have resources now, but they are dwindling.
As resources become less and less, the needs of the community will be more and more. The more we can get now, the more we can meet the immediate needs of those who do not have the resources to do so.

Please! If you can, donate what you can and share and spread the word!
We know times are difficult for everyone, but we hope with these funds we may help ease the burden for many!

Stay healthy, Stay safe!
Thank you for your ongoing support!
With love, Jennifer, Leah, Nicholas and Rachel
