The family of Christian Rodriguez

In the depths of our hearts, we bear the weight of an unspeakable sorrow as our family has suffered a devastating loss. The pain and heartache are unimaginable as we mourn the passing of our nephew Christian Rodriguez, beloved baby boy of our sister Sheron, a devoted and loving husband and father, and a loving brother to his sisters and brother. His life was tragically taken away in a senseless act of violence, leaving us shattered.

Christian, a bright soul of only 26 years old, who was the sole financial provider for his wife Cat, 1yr old son Teo, and an unborn son who is due in January of 2024 - was one of the innocent victims caught in a heinous shooting spree in Kansas City, MO. On the evening of July 31st, 2023, his life was cut short when a cowardly shooter approached him outside his home, inflicting irreparable harm.

For those who had the privilege of knowing Tian, as he was affectionately called, they can attest to his boundless love, kindness, humor, and compassion. He held his wife Catalina and their 1-year-old son Teo close to his heart, cherishing every moment with them. Tian was so excited to welcome their unborn son to the world, but the horrific acts of one individual took that away from him, and now his spirit watches over those he loved.

As a family, we stand united in our determination to support Cat and their two young boys during this difficult period. Tian's dedication as a provider was evident in his hard work, ensuring Cat could stay at home to raise their son. Now, with his sudden departure, we have launched this GoFundMe campaign to aid them financially as they navigate their new reality.
