Cushings disease Medical expenses.

My name is Victoria Perez. I am a former bikini model, I am going to school to be a dental hygienist, and a single mother to a beautiful 6-year-old boy, who is the light of my life. In 2016, I was diagnosed with Cushings Disease. I had not one, but two brain tumors. For the past two years I have struggled with this disease, and faced every obstacle from misdiagnoses, to problems with my doctors, denied insurance payouts, and several near-fatal hospital stays where I truly questioned whether I was going to live or die. I have had several surgeries, including those that removed the brain tumors and allowed me to finally be on the long road to recovery.
Unfortunately, this ordeal has left me with medical expenses that need to be paid, backed up bills and as I am currently a single mother and student, I have had some trouble putting together the funds. I am also unable to work due to the severe migraines and brain fogs. My anxiety gets to me every day and I can not handle stress like normal people. Stress can kill me and shuts my body down leaving me in bed for almost days.
Luckily, my story has been picked up by several news sources around the Internet, which has been a real blessing because it is my hope that sharing my story will prevent other people from going through the extremely frustrating process of being diagnosed, and fighting a disease that you don’t understand. If you can afford to give, please do. If you can’t, please share. If my ordeal can help even one person go and get checked for this horrible disease, then it will all have been worth it.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart,
Vicki
