West Coast Charity Ride - Seattle through Mexico

Tax deductible

Over the past year I've followed my dream of traveling the world through the lens of surfing. The ocean has consistently brought so much joy to my life, and I would love for everyone to experience these beautiful environments as they are for decades to come. Over the next several weeks I will be riding my bicycle down the west coast from Seattle through Baja, California and surfing along the way. Climate change is an important issue we face as a society, and I often feel it's too big of a problem for me to make an impact. Therefore I would like to take this opportunity to give back to a cause bigger than myself. The Surfrider Foundation is a non-profit environmental organization dedicated to the protection and enjoyment of the world's oceans, waves and beaches for all people, through conservation, activism, research and education.

My goal to is raise $5,000, and here's how you can help:
*Make a one-time donation to the Surfrider Foundation through this Gofundme page. Proceeds will go directly to the foundation.
*Share this page with others who care about the environment and would be willing to donate.

I will share updates of my adventure through my Instagram account: @jschafee

The more people who know about this adventure, the more fundraising we can do and the more significant of an impact we can make. Thank you in advance for your generosity and hopefully I'll see you along the way!
