Cynthia's Medical Fund

This fund was created to help Mike and Cynthia with ongoing medical expenses incurred in her battle against stage 4 carciniod cancer of the liver, kidneys, intestines, and lungs by her children.
Recently, Cynthia had complications from a major surgery performed in New Orleans that left her hospitalized in New Orleans for 79 days.
On August 10th she was transported back to Texas via ambulance and currently is hospitalized at Kindred Specialty Hospital in San Antonio.
Cynthia, recently turned 65 on August 8th and had she been transported before her birthday her major medical (Blue Cross Blue Shield) would have covered a portion of the ambulance transport. With her birthday came Medicare which low and behold does not cover the ambulance transport.
Future treatment will consist of more major surgeries to remove the carciniod tumors or PRRT (Peptide Receptor Radionuclide Therapy) Therapry along with monthly injections of Sandostatin (hormone drug used to treat cancer).
If you have an extra dollar or two along with prayers for recovery Mike and Cynthia would appreciate your generosity and prayers.
