DEPHER: Supporting those in need during summer

DEPHER Summer Appeal

As the hot weather and heat waves continue, we are still needed to help those most at-risk.

People may think that because DEPHER focuses on heating and boilers, we may slow down in the summer months. This couldn’t be further from the truth. This summer, we have been busier than ever.

We are still doing lots of plumbing, heating and boilers and we are still helping those who need us most. But we desperately need funds to continue our other important work.

We run a nation-wide food service to support those living in food poverty. As schools break up, there are thousands of families missing out on breakfast clubs and lunch, with some children getting by on just one meal a day.

Families need us more than ever this year, as the cost of living crisis continues. We help to deliver food to those who need it and we help struggling families through the long summer holidays.

As well as this, we run educational programmes for children in the summer.

We also help with electricity top-ups and gas.

During these costly months, we step in and help to provide funeral support to those who need us most. Families can face unprecedented challenges during the warmer months and we are there to help.

The hot weather creates many new problems and DEPHER is committed to continue supporting the people who need us most.

But demand is higher than ever and we cannot continue without your support.
