Diebold Nixdorf Harvey Support Fund
Hurricane/tropical storm Harvey has devastated communities in Texas, Louisiana and along the Gulf Coast. Houston has been one of the hardest-hit cities with widespread and unprecedented flooding. Parts of the city set a record for rainfall from a single storm in the continental U.S. with more than 50 inches recorded. Hundreds of thousands of people are under evacuation orders and tens of thousands of residents have lost power.
While it’s difficult to see the devastation on the news, the spirit of compassion and hope shown by the residents is overwhelming. Thankfully, our employees in the area are safe, but unfortunately some have sustained damage to their homes and property. Many remain without electricity, cannot return to their homes or have lost their homes. Their recovery – and that of all those in the region -- will be long term.
This is a time for us to pull together and support our employees and their families. This help can come in multiple forms -- by helping cover the workload, by listening and caring, and by donating. A relief fund for our DN employees directly impacted by this natural disaster has been established at the Diebold Federal Credit Union (DFCU). Diebold Nixdorf will match contributions made by employees up to $250,000.
All monies will be distributed to our employees in need. Thank you for supporting our colleagues!
