Please help replace Daleth's stolen car

Dear Family, Friends, and Neighbors,

My only vehicle has been stolen. I've been told the chance of recovery is very slim - and it will likely be unusable if it is recovered. And unfortunately last December, after being without full-time work for 4 months, I dropped my full-coverage insurance - meaning I'm left to replace my car on my own.

I feel awkward and somehow shamed that I'm asking for financial help from others. However, if not now - then when? I'm a single parent to a 15-year old with severe disabilities, which has forced me to leave my "lucrative teaching career" (oh, the irony!) for a lesser-paying work-from-home job. The last 12 months have been especially hard financially, as my daughter was hospitalized four times.

I believe we all need and deserve help and support regardless of what we do for others. But I can't deny, this feels like a time where I'm hoping some of the good I've thrown out into the world can come back my way.

Any help is appreciated, however small.

I'll get full coverage on the new "baby".

And I promise ill name it Herbie, because it'll be the love-bug... the car that love (from you all) brought to me.
