Daniel J. Shearman 8/17/1960 - 2/20/2018
Father. Husband. Brother. Uncle.
The Shearman family has once again lost a family member far too young. Dan Shearman, 57, passed away peacefully with friends and family in Kansas City, MO . Preceded in death by his mother, Peg, father, Frank, and brothers Michael and Patrick.
Dan Shearman, one of nine children, grew up in Omaha, NE where the Shearman family grew up on Twin Ridge Blvd and Hickory St and ran the streets of the Holy Cross neighborhood. Dan was an outstanding athlete who spent time playing baseball, basketball and golf with his friends, father and brothers. Dan graduated from Daniel J. Gross Catholic High School in 1979.
Dan had a strong work ethic and love for cars. In fact it was his love for cars that brought he and his "Hunny Bunny" Anita together. Their fairytale relationship is nothing short of a Nicolas Sparks Novel.
His faith in God and his Christian lifestyle were the cornerstone of his everyday life. Dedicating time to help the homeless and other causes were a few simple ways he chose to give back. Dan and Anita, devout Christians, loved and served their Lord holding their Christian values tight.
Dan's wife Anita, sons: Dan (31), Nick ( 28) and Jake (24) gave Dan the unconditional love any husband and father could ever want. Dan's exhuberant personality made him a magnet to others. He will be missed by those who grew to know him and love him.
The overwhelming bills aquired from his stay in the ICU, is far too excessive for Anita and his family. Your donation of any amount is much appreciated to offset the amount incured to his wife, Anita as she mourns the loss of her best friend. Thank you and God Bless. We thank you on Dan's behalf.
