My name is Lourdes and with a heavy heart and a deep sense of loss that our family Escalera-Sierra-Echevarria-Mercado; share the passing of my husband Daniel "Danny" Escalera- "Officer Escalera", this past Thursday, August 24. Our three children and I share so many wonderful years and we miss him deeply.

He lost the battle of Cancer, but he won a space in heaven. He is an Angel with big wings and a strong Warrior. He is not suffering anymore, he left peacefully.

Danny was a wonderful and very loving husband, beloved father, son, brother, and friend. He was someone whose humor lit up a room and brought joy to those in his presence. He gave good advice to any who needed it. His love was felt through his smile, jokes, and hugs. We can say so many beautiful and positive things about him that will be endless.

I'm reaching out to raise funds to help cover the cost of Danny's cremation and Celebration of life services. Your contribution will help us celebrate his life, remember the joy he brought to all of us, and provide closure for his loved ones. Any amount you can contribute or any wonderful words you want to share on his memory will make a meaningful difference and help us honor Danny's memory in the most loving way possible.
