Anyone with human decency is truly disheartened at this year's election results. Our safety is more at risk than ever. I need to get me and my loved one far away, to a country I can be safe in as a targeted individual.

My name is Daniel and I am an ftm transgender youth in extended foster care. I recently got out of an abusive home environment and a group home into my own apartment. I'm working part time and attending community college. I survive through emotional and physical turmoil. I have what is likely stomach ulcers. I'm currently receiving medical care.
I've been in and out of shelters and lived on the streets- at this point I've come to not expect much from life but I always try my best to stay on my feet and make others happy. Anything will help to make my future a little more stable than the chaos now.
