Danielle's Hospice Care Support Fund

Donation protected
With heavy hearts, we share that Danielle Simpson has been placed on hospice care due to her battle with Stage 4 Cancer. As she enters this final stage, our goal is to ensure her comfort, dignity, and peace while also easing the financial burden on their loved ones.
Hospice care provides invaluable support, but many expenses remain, including medical bills, home care, and necessary end-of-life arrangements. In addition, we want to ensure that Danielle’s final days are filled with love, warmth, and cherished moments without the added stress of financial hardship.
As Danielle has been a lifelong Wolcott Resident, we are reaching out to our community to ask for your support—whether through a donation, a share, or simply keeping Danielle in your thoughts and prayers. Every contribution, no matter how big or small, will help ease the burden and allow us to focus on what truly matters—spending quality time together.
From the bottom of our hearts, we thank you for your kindness, generosity, and support during this difficult time. Danielle has touched so many lives, and we want to give her the comfort and peace she so deserves.
With gratitude The Simpsons

Danielle's journey since May 2024......

Danielle was diagnosed with Breast cancer in May 2024.

Danielle went through chemo and then updated us in July with news her tumors grew in size.

After that update came this one in September 2024.
I had an emergency single mastectomy just to remove the tumor. The entire tumor and 18 infected lymph nodes were removed. The next step is radiation to clean up any cells floating around after I heal from surgery.

On October 28th the Wolcott High School Football Pink Out game was dedicated to Danielle and we all showed up to support her. Hoping it kept her in good spirits to continue this long journey.

Another update came December 2024 with more news...
Unfortunately, I didn’t respond to any of the chemotherapy and had growth throughout every step we took which is what led to my emergency single mastectomy. Even through my 33 radiation sessions I continued to have growth. My Dr ordered a bone scan as well as a CT scan for baseline imaging. These scans showed that my cancer metastasized to my lower vertebrae, a piece of my skull and my left lung. This changes my staging to stage 4 metastatic triple negative breast cancer. MTNBC.

And now an update from us today!!! Please help Danielle if you can!
