Help make Darren’s home accessible

Aloha everyone, we’ve had a lot of ups and downs, but it’s time to start preparing our home for Darren’s return. Unfortunately, insurance will not cover a ramp or a stairlift so that Darren can get into the house as well upstairs to sleep in his own bed and take a real shower. With other accommodations, like needing to install grab bars, buy appropriate furniture like a recliner that will assist him to stand and pivot to a wheelchair, and other things, the costs start to feel insurmountable. I am very humbly asking for your help to cover these costs. Every little bit will help. Please know that I am shopping around and trying my best to make the best choices for him so that we are being economical while still safe and giving him the quality of life that he deserves. Mahalo for all the prayers and support! We hope to get him back into acute rehab in the next day or so.
