Hi,
My name is Savannah and this is a picture of my Dad, Dave and I. My Dad has been battling cancer for almost 5 years now and has tried his hardest to improve his condition using holistic treatments. He has been going to his treatments (acupuncture, oxygen treatments...), eating better (primarily raw vegan foods), and trying to research everyday to see how he can continue this battle with a positive outcome. Sadly, it has reached Stage 4 and has spread to his spine. We currently can no longer afford treatments and while he tries to keep a smile on his face, the pain in his spine is very apparent.
After two long years of court battles the State of California has denied to grant him disability, because they claim his condition isn't debilitating enough. However, my dad is in such constant pain that he can barely make the 30 minute car trip to visit the doctors and regularly can't even get out of bed.
Without support from the state and with our own funds depleted we are asking for assistance from you. There is a clinic, which will treat and house him, but we can't afford it. All the funds from this "gofundme" will go toward his treatment, so we can make sure that my Dad can finally beat this grueling battle.
