I'm here because the tools I currently have are starting to fail on me and are detrimental to my health.
Last December I had to replace my laptop. It was getting old, couldn't be strong enough to run necessary programs correctly and it wasn't able to display colors accurately, even if I spent hours calibrating it. Those of you who do not know me, colors are VERY important to me. I got an Asus monitor to solve the color problem until I could miraculously get a PC, but then I was faced with the issue of tiny tablet, huge monitor. The tablet is just unusable at this point.
I searched the web for what the best tablet could be as a replacement, and with how I sometimes travel for long periods of time now, I decided instead of getting a larger tablet, why not get a tablet computer? So I chose the Surface Pro 3 from the list.
'course I couldn't afford a brand new one, so I got one refurbished for about $400 less. PRETTY COOL RIGHT?!
Well, it's unfortunately never worked just right as a drawing tool, functions kinda wonky, and as much as I've adjusted to the thing, I've had to sacrifice comfort, ease, and quality to use it frequently.
I'd also love to be able to work on animations and RPG making again, but the tablet won't let me work with the necessary programs to do so. I still want to use it for whenever I travel, but I really need something I can use at home at my desk for longer periods of time and for bigger projects.

Drawing on my boyfriend's Wacom before he majestically journeyed back to Ireland felt so good. I knew I had to go with a Wacom again. It just felt so smooth, so RIGHT. I read reviews of other tablet brands, and though I don't think they're bad, I saw people kept noting that they had some of the very problems I'm trying to get away from.
I'd go with a bigger Intuos, but I've already been spoiled with drawing on a screen tablet. It's much quicker and effecient to me! So I've decided to go for exactly what I need! The Cintiq 22HD! (regular one, not the Touch one)
As for time, I'd really PREFER to get it within a month so I can get started on things as soon as possible, but if that can't happen then it can't happen and that's okay!
