Dawn's 3rd Clinical Cancer trial

Our very good friend Dawn Simpson Ybarra Is going through her third clinical trial trying to kick cancer. She is a fighter and we know she can get through this. I thought the best way to explain what she is going through was to ask her. Here is her reply:
"I have Cervical cancer. I was diagnosed in Feb 2014. To date I've had radiation, and chemo. I've had 4 different kinds of chemo over the 2-1/2 years. The first 3 didn't work and it continued to spread in my lymph nodes in my abdomen & pelvis & groin. The last chemo I was on was working, and I had ALMOST beat it, but I got sick and wound up in the hospital. I spent all of March & April in the hospital, 2 surgeries in March, ending up with a colostomy. During the break from chemo to recover from surgery, the cancer grew and spread. It is now in lymph nodes in my pelvis, groin, chest, throat, and its in my lungs. I'm scheduled to start my 3rd Clinical Trial at MD Anderson Cancer center in Houston in 2 weeks. Next week I have tests and a biopsy on Mon & Tues.The hard part for me is I live in a fixed income (disability benefits) and have rent, etc. The trip to Houston is almost 250 miles each way, and the first 28 days I'm going to have to be in Houston at least 3 separate times a week, one if which is always a 2-day visit. After the first month, it's 2 days a week, for as long as the drug is working." 

She does not like to ask for help, but she really needs it. Money needs to be the least of her worries at this time.
