Dawn's Medical Fund

Hello everyone, I am Dr Cheryl Haugo, a Veterinarian in Yuma, Az.   Recently my friend Dawn was diagnosed with stage 2 laryngeal cancer.  Dawn is Jason's wife and he is one of the nurses at my veterinary clinic.  She had been coughing and hoarse for a month or so and thought is was just a cold.  It didn't go away, so when she went to the doctor we were all devastated to find out it was a mass, and even more so when the diagnosis of cancer came.
   Jason and Dawn are hard working, humble people with all the usual expenses; kids, a rented home, pets (of course) and vehicles, but they are really worried not only for Dawn's health, but their ability to afford her treatment.  While they have some insurance, the chemotherapy is going to cost almost $10000 per treatment in addition to the surgery already done.   Dawn will have doctor appointments, blood testing, and many other expenses in addition to the chemotherapy.  
   The money raised here will go to help Dawn and Jason pay their out of pocket medical expenses which will be pretty high.  Right now they are fighting to keep her treatments here in Yuma rather than in Phoenix where the insurance company wants it.  If she has to travel, there will be transportation and lodging expenses and time away from work as well. 
   Dawn has already survived ovarian cancer about 12  years ago, so she is fighting again for her life.  She and Jason are kind and giving people who are always there to help others.  It would mean so much to me and to them to receive the funding.  For them not to worry about these expenses would give them the ability to focus on her treatment and recovery.   Please donate any amount you can.  She already has a surgical bill and will begin chemotherapy soon as well. (around the first of May).
