Help Joey and Amanda Rebuild After Fire

Tuesday, January 28th Joey and Amanda lived through a real life nightmare. Such heartbreaking news for a couple who has always been there for our community numerous times. Amanda woke up at 4:45am to their home engulfed by flames. They were fortunate enough to get out with minor injuries and get their pets out. They couldn’t do anything but watch their life long dream burn to the ground. 13 trucks and over 100,000 gallons of water later…..They unfortunately lost everything. Literally everything besides theirselves and their pets. Their memories, their dreams, their life….decimated to piles of ash…. They still haven’t exactly found the right words and probably won’t for sometime. Let alone accept that this is even real life for them. Both torn between emotions of being happy Amanda woke up before it was too late and having their pets safe and sound….meanwhile their whole life otherwise in complete shambles. They are both so thankful to be alive. So thankful that their pets are untouched. Mentally and emotionally is a different story.  For Christmas this past year they paid the house off. It was a goal they had worked so hard towards. With that they made the tough financial decision to cancel their home owners insurance that was $12,000. Especially since they had a roof claim in that was never paid out on… Joey and Amanda have always been the first to lend a hand, and now it’s our turn to support them in their time of need. We are asking for your support to help them rebuild, as they have given so much to others over the years. Let’s come together and show them the love and care they so deeply deserve in this difficult time.
