Dean, a lifetime caregiver, who needs our help!

Donation protected
Caregiver Dean lost his life savings (and just now his home) after years of sacrificing and taking care of infirmed family and handicapped folks.  He gave it his all for nearly 15 years; time, effort, love, support, attention and finances. But unfortunately all "battles" were ultimately lost and he lost his whole family.
And now he lost the home where he was living and caregiving in; so we created this campaign to help him; as well as to bring awareness and appreciation to caregivers everywhere.
   This is in recognition of caregivers world wide.

We live in a world filled with so much suffering, that being homeless may not sound like the worst thing in the world; however, for Dean, it is one of his darkest fears.
Dean lost his father, his brother, and his mother, a la his "home" ... as well as now he has lost his physical house.

We ask that anyone who reads and relates to this page to please name (and thank) a caregiver whom you know -- and to share this overall story on your own social media sites so that we can get the word out about Dean; and help him fund a new house and a "home" so he can continue his life's work of taking care of (himself) and others (such as Tim in the photo).

If you happen to be a New Jersey lawyer who can help Dean with a relatively simple civil case, that would be much appreciated as well.

A little history about Dean Paul:

Dean has dedicated his life to being a caregiver to those in despair and in need.  He has opened his home, his heart, his resources, and his wallet, many many times over ... during the past 15 years; but unfortunately lost it all when everyone passed.
   And now the house is gone too.

So now 77Dean needs our help so he can have a roof over his head and a place where he can feel safe; as well as a place where he can continue his work and passion for taking care of the infirmed, elderly, handicapped, humbled, veterans, and the disabled.

The below link is from a very good friend of Dean's (Tim). Someone whom Dean has helped for many years.  Please listen to his video so you can put a face to one of the many voices effected.

Shortly after meeting Dean, I met his mother.  She was an amazing woman and she was so proud of Dean that she had his "report card" displayed on the refrigerator.  Dean was a straight "A" student, which I wasn't surprised at.  Dean was also a talented musician and computer editor before he gave it all up in an altruistic endeavor to help (as a caregiver) those who were in dire need.

As Dean's life moved forward, he lost his father to brain cancer. Then, his brother who had a severe stroke (brain stem stroke).
Dean had taken care of his brother, 24/7, until his untimely death;
  And then, several years later, he lost his mother too (she had a heart attack in his arms).

Dean had been there for all of them.  And without complaint, he took care of each of them during their time and years of need.

And from having spent a good portion of his adult life taking care of his family and others in need, while they were sick, unable, and/or disabled, Dean knew his path was to be a lifetime caregiver.

Circumstances have now brought a good man to his knees, and to the brink.
Our goal is to use this GoFundMe page to raise money -- and to give Dean a second chance at life via housing and resources.  Dean desperately needs a roof over his head -- and to get back on his feet so that he can continue to be the career caregiver he is at heart.

Aphorisms:

   "If you don't ask, you don't get." ~ Mahatma Gandhi

    "Could your dream become reality if you drummed up the courage to ask for help?"  ~ Christine Clifford

"Ask, and it shall be given to you;
  seek and ye shall find;
knock and it shall be opened unto you.
  For every one that asketh, receiveth;
 and he that seeketh, findeth;
    and to him that knocketh,
it shall be opened."
                                           ~ Matthew 7:7-8

OF NOTE: if you can even just say a short prayer for Dean Paul (if you don't have the means to donate), that would be very much appreciated; as Dean is a man of sanguine thoughts and positive karma;
  And Dean's personal goal with this GoFundMe is to bring awareness to caregiving and caregivers everywhere; and for as many people as possible (via sharing) to simply donate a dollar in the name of someone whom they have cared for and/or who has cared for them.
   Please post the name of someone special when you donate; and keep the chain of gratefulness going.

I hope, with your help, along with your kindness and donations, to provide Dean with a warm bed and hot meals.

Dean has been so distraught lately, all I can say is that I hope "his tears wash away his fears" (as he's petrified of being homeless in the winter). And I hope his tears wash away his undeserved "guilt" for thinking he is now a "burden" on the world.  And although Dean is admittedly down-n-out at the moment, through all of these tragedies, he has never lost his sense of hope and overall grateful attitude.

Dean is also a man of great pride; to the point where I actually had to proselytize him into realizing that he's not a burden for asking for help during his time of vicissitude and rebuilding; and that he'd be amazed to see just how many people actually want to contribute when karma needs a little nudge to get back on track.

In compendium, if you can, please donate anything, as even a dollar helps (as like Dean always reminds me, a Snickers is only 74 cents at Walmart -- and that's a meal to him); plus, just as importantly, please spread the word / link with the hashtags #HomeMatters or #CaregiversKickAss or #ThankaCaregiver

Everyone can relate to #HomeMatters; whether you have a loved one in the military or a child in the hospital, as we all just want them to be safe at home where it matters.

So if you can start a conversation by spreading the word about a lifetime caregiver who is now in need, we all would be so appreciative.
Let's bring attention to this fundraising sentiment by using #HomeMatters or #CaregiversMatter or #ThankaCaregiver or #CaregiversKickAss ... and shed a light on how a (now) homeless guy, who spent his life helping others (and opening his door to others), is now currently in need of shelter and caring himself;
  and in need of love & support from both friends and strangers alike.

Thank you.
