Hi, my name is Anna, and I met Deanna through my husband, Eric. Deanna has always been one of the closest people in his life, and I quickly saw why. They met through music (Eric played in a band for many years with Deanna's close friends), and she showed up to every one of their shows she could. She was more of a part of Hot Gin than anyone! And that's the thing with Deanna; she ALWAYS shows up for you. No matter who you are, if you enter her life, she treats you like family.

It's no secret D has been through more s*!t in life than most people ever will, notably with the loss of her husband Dan a few years ago. Her community of people rallied around her, and although the gap of Dan's passing will never be filled, her people made sure she felt love and light at all times.

Recently, the universe (F U) has decided to turn Deanna and her family's life upside down once again. Her family is going through some serious and heavy health issues, and her house was the victim of a sudden and devastating fire, deeming her house a total loss. Dealing with one of these things is overwhelming, but Deanna and her family are dealing with these all at once. Deanna always opened the doors of her home to anyone, and made them feel like it was their home too. She never has asked for anything in return.

Deanna has shown up for all of us in more ways than we can ever pay back, but this GoFundMe is a small token of how we can start. We would like to give Deanna the chance to rebuild in small ways, and be able to take time to focus on things that matter. We hope you BLOW this goal out of the water so we can keep raising it!
