Deanna Lawson - Road to Recovery

Please help Deanna Lawson and her two kids (Michael and Ian) get back on their feet.
Deanna and her two sons were returning home from Christmas to Florida from Pennsylvania when they were in a serious car accident on I-95 south. They were coming over a hill and rear ended a stopped vehicle on the highway. They didn't have time to stop or avoid it.
For all intents and purposes they should be with Jesus... it was pretty bad. But by God's grace, they are still with us and the all mighty fortress of angels protected each one of them in the vehicle.
Ian is sore... but Praise be to God... he is not hurt. Michael is sore and using a walker to get around and will need some physical therapy. Deanna broke her hip. It shattered into 4 big pieces and a few smaller ones. She underwent a 6 hour surgery in Columbia, S.C. on Monday, December 28th to repair the hip with many plates and screws.
After the surgery while still in the hospital, Deanna completed some inpatient rehab. She will not be able to put any weight on her right leg for approximately 12 weeks (i.e, Constant need of a wheelchair). By God's perfect design, Deanna had a life long friend in Columbia, South Carolina who was like a second mother to her. She was marvelous! In addition to that another friend lived in South Carolina and visited her daily and help keep her company while in the hospital.
As of today (January 11, 2016), Deanna is finally back home in Orlando, Florida. Her best friend Karen Powers came to get her and bring her back. There are so many blessings for which they are so grateful... the expressions of love has been amazing.
Physically, emotionally and financially, there are some potentially overwhelming days, weeks and months ahead. Both Michael and Deanna need to have continued home health physical therapy. They were able to find a doctor who would continue care PT for them in Florida. Also, Deanna has two part-time jobs that she currently is not able to do. Hospital bills, insurance claims, paperwork and general household bills and the list goes on....
Deanna is not yet certain when she will be able to return to work or if she can return with the limitations she will have.
But even though this has been an arduous process so far, God has truly been in and all over it! From doctors, to nurses, to friends of friends who have kept Deanna company while away from family....it is most certainly humbling and very cool to have watched God unfold His perfect plan for her life at this time!
Deanna, Michael and Ian appreciate your prayers. They are so grateful to be alive and praising Jesus for that everyday.
