Debbie Mastrangelo Medical Fund
Donation protected
In April 2015, my Aunt Debbie Mastrangelo was diagnosed with Glioblastoma and rushed into emergency surgery in Charlotte, North Carolina, near where they live. While the doctors were able to remove portions of the tumor, unfortunately they had to leave some fingerlike portions behind for fear that cutting into that area could cause permanent brain damage.
Over the following 15 months, Debbie has endured numerous courses of chemo, radiation, and even a second brain surgery. She has also been attached to a treatment machine for 18 hours per day. Despite all, the cancer keeps returning.
Stevie has continuously tried to get her into various trials, and his hard work has finally paid off. Debbie has been accepted into a trial at the Dana Farber Cancer Institute in Boston.
Stevie will soon bring Debbie up for her initial screening. After that, they will need to make the trip from North Carolina to Boston every 28 days. As you can imagine, the medical and related expenses that Stevie and Debbie have incurred over time have been enormous and have broken the bank. I know them as proud people too, they would never ask for help. But help is needed.
So on their behalf, I ask that you consider contributing to their cause in whatever amount you choose. Please know that any amount donated will be greatly appreciated.
Thank you,
Stephanie
