Our Delmy Needs You

Everybody,

Kiza and Dave here. I am the son-in-law of Mike and Delmy Abrahams and Kiza is their best friend. They need us all for help this time people. Anything you can.
Our precious Delmy is fighting hard to recover in the ICU at Temecula Valley Hospital after an aneurysm burst on her brain causing a stroke Monday night.
Delmy is the wonderful mother to my wife Lauren and her brother Mikie. She is a fun-loving Grandmother to our 3 kids. She still has her parents, 2 sisters and 3 brothers who all care deeply for her and were as shocked as us Monday night when they heard/arrived at the hospital after being called by Lauren when things were looking very grave. We were most fortunate that this all happened in the ER department at Rancho Springs where Mike had taken Delmy for a severe headache. The tone of this gofundme would be very different had this happened at home. I write this because we still can't believe how close it came to losing you Delmy, I don't know what any of us would do had things been different that night and our sincere thanks goes out to all the staff at both facilities who took such great care of you. To them, you could be another patient but to us, you are the world and they treated you as such.
Things are going to get tough with expenses in the coming weeks and months, especially as we were already in the month of Christmas and Delmy being the naughty grandmother she is had bought our kids early presents just last week. You can't stop her from making the grandkids happy it's just in her heart.
Let’s do what we can to make things easier on them. Mike has been running a small business and Delmy works from home so they are on a fixed income. We have Mike focused on nothing but the love of his life right now, and Delmy will have a long road to recovery ahead.
I know that there will be immediate co-pays that Mike will be too proud to ask for help with so we are setting up this gofundme as a way to relieve some of the pressure off of that side of things. This great couple should only need to worry about getting anything and everything they need to be done for the most amazing woman on this planet back to full health.


Del, we are all rooting for you. Bases are loaded, it’s the bottom of the ninth with two outs and the crowd is on their feet. You got this Delmy, keep your eye on the ball and knock that sucker out of the park!
