Fund for Dennis Hayden

My name is Marcia Hendrick. I created this campaign for my younger brother, Dennis Hayden. On October 16, 2016, Dennis was admitted to the hospital in septic shock from a staph infection that got into his bloodstream and joints. He was given powerful antibiotics, painkillers and sedatives, and underwent two operations to clean out the infection from one hip, both knees and both elbows. The doctors did not think he was going to make it, but he did! Dennis is doing his best to get better, but there are significant challenges ahead. The damage caused by the septic shock affected his internal organs and his muscles and joints. He needs dialysis three times a week. He has physical therapy every day. He is very slowly regaining the use of his muscles, but as of today, he cannot hold anything in his hands, and cannot stand or walk. Dennis is working hard, and I know he won't give up until he can get back to the life he had with his friends and community in the Napa Valley in California. It is going to be a long road to recovery, and he needs financial support until he is able to work again. There will be money needed for medical bills, health care, transportation, equipment, his apartment and more. Whatever you can give would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
