Create Space for Community in Depew NY

Want to join us in making a difference? We are raising money to complete the renovations to our future Depew Community Center.

Here is our story: Our nonprofit was formed in 2018 to respond to the needs of residents of Depew, including a low cost laundromat and space to access essential services in the Village of Depew.

We purchased the former Dom Polski building in Depew 3 years ago and are renovating it into a community center to serve the residents. When it's finished, the community center will house a low-cost laundromat, gathering space for community events, Matthew's Table free community dinners (expanding to offer more meals!), a computer center, space for accessing social services, job training, and classes in painting and drawing, acting and singing (in partnership with Lancaster Opera House). We are 100% dependent on the generosity of local businesses, individuals and civil organizations to fund the renovations. We hope you will be part of this audacious project for our community!

We were recently awarded a grant of $300,000 which will help us complete the renovations and open the community center. We are now beginning fundraising to create a beautiful commercial kitchen to serve the Depew community. Your donation will be used for this purpose.
