Devan's run to support the EVMS Alliance!

Devan is running the half marathon at the 50th Shamrock Marathon on March 20, 2022, and raising funds for the EVMS Alliance! The EVMS Alliance provides a forum for LGBTQ individuals and LGBTQ supporters at EVMS to engage in, learn about, and discuss LGBTQ issues. The club is student-run and advised by EVMS faculty and staff and local physicians who are knowledgeable and supportive of LGBTQ individuals. Students in all programs at EVMS are welcome to become members of the EVMS Alliance, whether they are LGBTQ or not. Activities include a school celebration of National Coming Out Day, providing SafeZone training, and inviting guest speakers to EVMS to foster well-rounded, LGBTQ-inclusive healthcare professionals.
