Digging Deep for Diana Barnes

Diana Barnes is a 29 year old Pharmacy Technician and mother who had a medical episode at Lamar Plaza Drug Store last Tuesday.....Paramedics had to shock her heart back with a defibrillator and the only reason she made it was quick thinking by a physicians assistant from our in-store medical clinic. The doctors at Brackenridge figured out she has had a heart defect from birth and never knew it. Diana just had surgery to put in a defibrillator so if her heart stops again, it will shock her back.

As if all of this is not enough, Diana does not have health insurance, so we are trying to organize a benefit to help keep her family afloat with rent and bills accumulating quickly. Diana has the kindest soul of anyone I know; She would give the shirt off her back for a stranger and never think twice and we just want to try to help her out.
